A Little About Us...

The Bilyeu Trio is a Christian singing group composed of three siblings: Tammy, Tonya and Jamie Bilyeu. They started singing in churches at a very young age along with their parents and two other siblings, Renee and Laysa. Their father was a Southern Baptist Minister in the Ozarks. The Bilyeu Family spread their ministry in song over the Ozarks for many years. The Trio is very excited about carrying on the family's gospel ministry in song. The Trio is so excited to return to their roots, singing Southern Gospel Music and spreading the Word in song.

They just released their first Gospel album "Great Eternal Day." The new album captures their sibling harmonies, as the lyrics spread the gospel. Several of the songs are family written. The title song of the album was written by their late father, Tommy Bilyeu. Tammy wrote Dust on Your Bible, in memory of their late Grandfather's Bible...and Father's Day, which was written for their Dad as a Father's Day gift.

Though raised on Southern Gospel influence, they have been impacted by many different genres of music throughout the years. Tammy and Tonya were the Stutterettes, backup and featured vocalists with Mel Tillis. For 16 years, they performed on Mel's show, traveling the United States and other parts of the world. They appeared on many National Television shows, such as The Grand Ole Opry, Nashville Now and The Jerry Lewis Telethon. The have had the opportunity to perform with many entertainers such as Mel Tillis, Johnny Cash, Pam Tillis, David Frizzell, Lorretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard and many others. The sisters recorded many albums with Mel and on their own as the Stutterettes. In 2009, they invited their brother to join them in background vocals for Mel Tillis's latest Christmas album. The girls also spent many years on stage with the their parents and eldest sister Renee at the Baldknobbers Theater, a family owned show in Branson MO.

Jamie currently serves as Pastor of Riverdale Baptist Church in Nixa, MO, where their late father served as Pastor for 38 years. He served 22 years alongside his father as Associate Pastor. Jamie is legally blind, but in spite of his visual handicap, his spiritual sight is strong! He has sang with the family since early teen years, and has sang backup with Tammy and Tonya on several gospel and Christmas albums.

The Bilyeu Trio is very thankful to their parents, Tommy and Joan for their Christian upbringing and for their musical influences.
